Getting Traffic to your Blog

Buy website traffic, Get real targeted visitors.
Getting traffic to your blog 1. Set up an email subscription form on your blog and invite everyone in your network to subscribe: family, friends, colleagues, clients, associates. 2. Set up a feed on MyYahoo.com so your site gets regularly spidered by the Yahoo search engine. 3. Read and comment on other blogs that are in your target niche. Don't write things like "nice blog" or "great post." Write intelligent, useful comments with a link to your blog. 4. Use Ping-0-matic to ping blog directories. Do this every time you publish. 5. Submit your blog to traditional search engines. 6. Submit your blog to blog directories. Tip: Create a form to track your submissions; this can take several hours when you first start so schedule an hour a day for submitting or hire a VA to do it for you. 7. Add a link to your blog in your email signature file. 8. Put a link to your blog on every page of your website. 9. If you publish a newsletter, make sure you have a link to your blog in every issue. 10. Include a link to your blog as a standard part of all outgoing correspondence such as autoresponder sequences, sales letters, reports, white papers, etc. 11. Print your blog URL on your business cards, brochures and flyers. 12. Make sure you have an RSS feed URL that people can subscribe to. The acronym RSS means Rich Site Summary, or some may consider its meaning as Really Simple Syndication. It is a document type that lists updates of websites or blogs available for syndication. These RSS documents (also known as 'feeds') may be read using aggregators (news readers). RSS feeds may show headlines only or both headlines and summaries. 13. Post often to keep attracting your subscribers to come back and refer you to others in their networks; include links to other blogs, articles and websites in your posts 14. Use Trackback links when you quote or refer to other blog posts. What is TrackBack? Essentially what this does is send a message from one server to another server letting it know you have posted a reference to their post. The beauty is that a link to your blog is now included on their site. 15. Write articles to post around the web in article directories. Include a link to your blog in the author info box 16. Make a commitment to blog everyday. 10 minutes a day can help increase your traffic as new content attracts search engine spiders. Put it on your calendar as a task every day at the same time. Tip: Use a hit counter to track your visitor stats: how many unique visitors, how many page views, average length of visit.

Evaluating Your Marketing Efforts

One of the most important things you can do for your business is to constantly be evaluating the results of your marketing efforts. You need to frequently look at what is happening and what results you are getting or not getting from it. The only way you will know what approach is working is to watch the statistics after you market. There are several important items to talk about with this part of your business.
·         You need to build multiple landing pages to test different styles
·         You need to install stats on each page to understand
o   how many people are coming
o   from what marketing efforts
o   what they do when they get to your page
·         You need to begin multiple marketing campaigns to send traffic to your pages
o   Start with one approach
o   Create multiple “different” ads with that approach
o   After mastering it and seeing improvement/results learn a new marketing approach
·         You need to review your stats often to see what is happening with the visits
o   Which ads are getting clicks?
o   What is the cost if any?
o   What landing pages are giving you conversions?
o   What ads/landing pages are not creating conversions?
o   Make adjustments (change landing page layout, change ads, stop ads, test other approaches
·         Continue to review other ads and landing pages from your competition
o   What do their ads look like?
o   Do they use text ads?
o   Do they use flash ads?
o   Do they use video?
o   Do they use banner ads?
o   Do they use a custom landing page?
o   Do they send directly to the offer?
o   Do they use long ad copy?
o   Do they attempt to capture emails?
o   What ads do you see consistently over and over?
As you continually apply these different steps you will start to see the patterns that indicate good results and you will be able to duplicate those efforts and eliminate the marketing that is not working for you. The knowledge you gain in the first tests will also be something that will help you with all other marketing you ever do with your business. While you work on your own marketing and also evaluate the ads and landing pages of others you will improve the results of your business. Your business will live by the testing and research that you continually do.

Multiple Landing Pages

Creating multiple landing pages will allow you to test different styles of marketing. You can quickly find out what style of landing page works for the offer you are presenting. Creating multiple pages at once and driving traffic to each page simultaneously will allow you to see the results of each easily side by side with very little variance other than the page itself. If you create one style and market it for a while and then create another style and market it you won’t have the same type of data because it was marketed at a different time and that may affect the performance.

Install Stats

Installing stats on every landing page you have will allow you to monitor your marketing and landing page performance. You should install stats immediately after the page is created. This way the stats start running as soon as you publish your pages. See the steps below for installation instructions for the two most recommended stat counters:

9.       Under IP Blocking paste the IP address you copied
10.   Also paste the following IP address: 65.102.24.234 which is our IP address at PMI

19.   Check the box that states you agree to the terms

Begin Multiple Marketing Campaigns (split testing)

There are many ways to drive traffic to your site and you want to harness the power of as many as you can understand. This means that eventually you may market with many different avenues but initially you should learn one approach at a time. With every approach to marketing it is a good idea to test several different styles or ads. If you are starting with Twitter posts then track (with different landing pages) what posts seem to drive the most traffic. If you are starting with PPC then track what ads get the most clicks.
Split testing is one of the most important parts of your business because it will allow you to see side by side results of many different attempts all at once. With any split testing you do there should be a certain amount of elements that are the same and then a certain amount that are different. For example; you might create an ad for an IQ test. You can create a landing page that offers a brief intro to the test and gets your visitors excited about the test. If you see others with the same type of offer sending people direct to the offer then you might want to test that approach as well. Running two ads at the same time with two different landing pages but to similar audiences will allow you to understand which one works best for you.

Review Your Stats Often

Once you start running ads you need to pay attention to the performance of each ad. If running an image ad which one is getting the most clicks? You might be surprised sometimes. What text seems to bring the most clicks? What call to action gets people’s attention? If you have statcounter installed then you can see where your visitors are coming from and what they do once they get to your landing page. If they are not moving forward then you know you may need to test a new landing page layout. You can try something a little different that will get you the results you want. Keep testing until you see results happening.

Continue To Review Other Ads And Landing Pages

Don’t forget to do continued reconnaissance and review of other ads and competing landing pages. This part of your business is never “done”. It is something that is needed for ongoing success. You must be involved in your industry and understand what others are doing. This is one of the most powerful options for you because it allows you to use the work of others to improve your business. Think about the power of this action for just a minute. Your competition has been working the business for many years. They have done the testing already. When you see a consistent ad being repeated or a landing page style being repeated over and over you know that they are doing it because it has proven to be successful. It works for them and chances are, if it works for them it will work for you.

Getting you Site Noticed by Search Engines

I have been thinking a lot about you and how I can help you stay focused on marketing your website. Obviously I realized that this can just be overwhelming on where to begin. So I’ve been doing a little research this past week and came up with a pretty cool solution for you! There is a program call Lotus Jump that keeps you on task and track to making a website successful online. Here’s how it works: 1. You enter your domain name into the system plus all the keywords that your website focuses on. 2. LotusJump will then search thousands of websites, blogs, Q&A Platforms and news sources for your keywords. 3. LotusJump will sort and filter all of these websites to find the ones that benefit you the most to link to. 4. LotusJump then turns these resources into actionable tasks that are delivered directly to your account. So what does that mean for you? It means that the system tells you what to do next on your task list. Basically it’s taking all the information I have given you, but breaking it down into daily tasks. All you have to do is complete the tasks each day. These tasks include things like create a youtube video, write an article, post on Facebook, write a blog post, etc. The cool thing about it is the system is telling you what to do and when to do it for the best results in getting more traffic! Pretty simple marketing! Obviously you are still applying all the things you have learned from me and will still need to reference videos on how to do the work, but the nice thing is you don’t need to question what to do next. The system tells you what to do next and assigns you those tasks daily! I signed up for an account for my www.myproudflag.com website and have started using it. As an example my tasks today are the following: 1) Build a backlink at www.articles3000.com focusing on the keyword phrase “Flag Display case”. 2) Build a backlink at www.flagsonline.co.uk focusing on the keyword phrase “Shadow box Flag case”. As you can see the system is telling me that I need to focus on a specific keyword phrase and where to put those links so it builds my traffic. So here is my recommendation!!! Get yourselves setup with an account today and test it out for the month. If you find that the daily assigned tasks works, then keep using it! If not, then cancel your account. But either way I believe it will help you stay focused on getting sales, with one task at a time. Now here is the best part! I met with the company recently and got you a discount on the monthly subscription. So to get signed up and get the monthly discount, go to: 1. http://pmi.lotusjump.com 2. Then click on “Choose Your Plan” 3. Select the plan you want a. Basic is $4 off per month b. Pro is $5 off per month 4. When you click to buy your plan, enter this promo code to make sure the discount goes through. If you don’t enter the promo code, then you will be billed the full monthly price. 5. Promo Code: 0F865Q (You will see the promo code box on the right side under account options.) Like I said, try it for a month and see if it helps you. From what I have seen so far, I am VERY impressed and know I will continue to use it. I know you can both succeed at this business! I want to make sure you have all the latest and greatest tools available to make that happen!
